Return Policy

Thank you for choosing The Saddle Consignor for your equestrian needs. We strive to provide top-quality saddle consignment services, and your satisfaction is our priority. Please take a moment to review our return policy to ensure a smooth experience in the unlikely event you need to make a return.

Return Period:

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of delivery. After this period, we regret that we cannot process your return. EXCEPTION: Final Sale saddles are not eligible for return.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be in its original condition, with no signs of use or damage. New items must remain in their original unopened packaging.

Restocking Fee:

  • A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items. This fee is calculated based on the original purchase price.

Return Shipping Fee (Used Saddles):

  • A flat rate return shipping fee of $74.95 will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers the cost of return shipping and processing. You will receive a return shipping label within 24 hours of Return authorization approval.

Return Shipping Fee (All items except used saddles):

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping. All returns must be pre-approved with a Return Authorization.

Return Authorization Process:

  1. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team within the 7-day return period or go to Request Return.
  2. Once your return request is approved, you will receive a return authorization and a prepaid return label (if applicable) via email within 24 hours
  3. Securely package the items in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
  4. If a return label was provided to you, Affix the provided return label to the package, ensuring it covers any existing shipping labels.
  5. Drop off the package at the designated shipping carrier location within 7 days of approved Return Authorization. The item(s) must be post marked within 7 days of approved authorization or they will be denied acceptance. Please contact us at info@saddleconsignor.com. 
  6. If a return label was not provided to you, please submit tracking information upon shipping.

Refund Process:

  • Upon receiving the returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. Once approved, we will process your refund, minus the restocking fee and return shipping fee (if applicable).
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Exchanges:

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange your saddle for a different one, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.

Damage and Issues:

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Issues reported outside of the return window will not be honored.
